A very short story: it is one letter long (except for the title).
What is the title & the complete
story?

One letter long huh? So obviously more laconic than the Spartans...
When Philip of Macedon threatened them with, "If I enter Laconia, I will raze Sparta to the
ground," the Spartans' reply was, "If."

The captain of a starship notes the difficulties in developing treaties between humanity and other sentient species to protect homes and families when their languages often don't have concepts for homes and families.
