Porting to the PSP

Post by Xocite »

We all realise that when the PSP comes out, it will be the most versatile handheld games device ever! When the rewritable UMD comes out, will it be possible to create a handheld Oolite for that? If you succeed in making a successful port, I personally believe that you have a chance of making some money!!!!

No.

Oolite and its ports will always be offered under non-commercial licences.

I will second that.

For some reason I feel that porting to other platforms could prove troublesome.

Well, what if you could port it to PSP and let people burn their own UMD disks or whatever? I'm sure it'll only be a couple of years before some sort of UMD burner is available on the market.
