I just looked and think that there is only one older thread than this one in existance on the boards, it is from the 9th of June 2004 from aegidian saying he went on a holiday, under announcements, and one can't answer to it.

So I guess Fatleaf is record holder, and also that resurrecting "ye oldest thread" might become a bit unpopular with the moderators if extended too far ...
