S.T.E dead in space?

There seems to be a failure at MediaFire, folder not found when trying to download an S.T.E, my preferred next upgrade from a Cobbie Mk III.

Anyone know why?

but as life tends to go, when you have been looking for something for ages, as soon as you finally find one, you come across something which is a lot better.

I got the bullion up and running, looked through the shipping shopping lists on the stations and lo and behold there was the gold coloured one that I wanted (just underneath a brand spanking new Python ET with shield boosters for an additional 7 K!).

Sigh.

But a good deal is a good deal and I only needed a few more runs to get the ET proper. So I did.

And then started missing the IFF and all the comfort you tend to forget you have until you don't have them anymore. (And take note not to think that you COULD have bought all those nice little nicknacks IF you hadn't spend ALL your cash on a ship you couldn't really afford at the time).

It's painful, it's slow but at least I have a few more tons to haul around at a better speed. (That is as soon as I can gather enough credits to actually load the beast half way full).

Life's hard. 8-(

Can't say that an ET is slow and not too sure it is painful because I never bumped into one.

Only thing really to say against an ET Special is that it is way more expensive than a Cobbie (either mark), Adder, Mamba, STE, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. But that could be because them are actually way to cheap. I mean they are practically giving the Cobbies away at Lave.

Got yourself a pilot license? 'Ere, 'ave this Cobbie and take this 100 smackers too!

You know, the more I 'fink about it, the more I get the feeling that somefing funnie's goin on 'ere.

If there is one feature of the Python ET Special that I am not too wild about, then it is the nose. The hooter makes it a bit tricky to scoop up goodies. I am losing too many pods disintegrating when they crash into the beak. It's not impossible, or even hard, just requires a change in scooping activities (for one, DON'T come blasting in at full throttle

The Python ET Special has been one of my in-between ships, it takes some getting used to but is agreat moneymaker

Also, it's pretty fast for a python!

Oh, I agree with the both of you. BUT, as far as looks are concerned, I quite like the Ixian Freighter. It looks like a sturdy freighter should look. No nonsense, no pretty chrome grills, just stuffed with functionality.

And that's what you want, really. I mean, you wouldn't expect a Ferrari look for an articulated lorry, would you?
