Energy rates and recharge
A quick question, are there maximum permitted figures for max_energy and energy_recharge_rate in shipdata?
Commander Smivs, the friendliest Gourd this side of Riedquat.

No, though after a while you'll start getting noticeable floating point inaccuracies creeping in. Anything up to 10 million should be fairly safe.Smivs wrote:A quick question, are there maximum permitted figures for max_energy and energy_recharge_rate in shipdata?

What about heat_insulation...is 2.0 the max for NPCs and Players

Re: Energy rates and recharge
The player always has either 1.0 or 2.0 depending on whether the equipment is installed.Smivs wrote:What about heat_insulation...is 2.0 the max for NPCs and Players
NPCs can have any value. Except in nova systems, there is no point in setting a value greater than 12.5, though.
