Standard Cobbie III but iron assed. Oh and multi-decaled with the help of Griff's shaders.
Good! That's what I drive - Rolling Thunder is iron-assed, but with less kit and an extra energy bank to balance things.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

I think missile behaviour has changed in 1.76.1 - here.
The Gecko was flickering. Looked like a partial failure of the cloak. Maybe that allowed the missile to keep lock.

I also have front and rear shield capacitors. They don't last long with a few bursts from the green laser, but every little helps. 8)

No, that's how a cloaked ship appears - check your external view when you are cloaked.

Really? Most of the time I couldn't spot it, even when looking straight down it's barrel. Showed up when I took a few pot-shots to locate it.

You engaged in combat with a GG, with a passenger on board?

I hope he refused to pay the balance of his fare.. "reckless endangerment" sounds about right..

The GG is the ship the Legendary Knights of Lago use. Notius Ed was the pilot.

I'm referring to the bit above the scanner, where it says that Tricky had a paying passenger in a berth when he offloaded Notius Ed. Which means, said terrified passenger was on board during combat, probably making an awful mess in his/her/it's space-pants, too..

Ah!

I do that as well from time to time. You can only imagine that the passenger berth would need cleaning after the trip!!!

The Green Gecko has hit 200 downloads – frankly, I am amazed (and very pleased, of course). It started-out as an immersion-crazed (and over-worked) test-pilot’s folly, originally brought about by a plist that got zapped and corrupted in transit by a stray neutrino – a somewhat curious nascence.

Also, Notius Ed, spokesbeing for the Council of Avernus, issued this short statement:
All Green Knights, and their Green Geckos, have been recalled to Lago system for a complete refit and upgrade, and for pilot re-training. This is expected to take between one and two weeks. Soon, the upgraded ships and their fearless pilots will once again be haunting the spacelanes!
In other words, I’m withdrawing this OXP for the moment – a new improved version is undergoing intensive testing right now, and will be released within a fortnight.
Would a kindly wiki wizard please remove the download link on the Green Gecko’s [EliteWiki] wiki page for me, and replace it with a short message to that effect.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Heh... they've been absolutely hammering me in my iron-assed Cobra III (I laugh like a drain every time one of them kills me).

They are an absolute pain in the a**. They seem to know when I have been in a fire fight and my shields are low, and on the off chance that I draw the longest straw and am winning, they run. But I still can't make myself throw out the OXP.
