Hello, everybody. My name is Commander Beagle and I am addicted to Oolite. Worst, I had already addicted two more people to Oolite, including my 78 years old mother and a cousin!

It's been ages since I actually played Oolite. It's more a case of addiction to the BB and wiki... 8)

Oddly I've never thought about my cars in terms of Oolite ships but then that's probably because my slightly knackered 30 year old Capri 2.8i is probably much like a Krait - Old and obsolete, harder to maintain as time passes, but great fun (when it goes  ).
Wow! a Capri is a thing of beauty. I have fond memories of being driven around in the boot of one when I was a child - clearly before health and safety was invented :D

I'm Commander Ryan Hoots, and I am an Oolite addict. It may have something to do with the fact that Oolite is the best open source game ever. :)

That - is quite possibly the coolest thing I will hear today.
What were the skies like when you were young?

Currently: piloting the Boa Clipper Photic Sneeze II around Galaxy 2, bearing gifts of dubious legality but high entertainment value.

I was an Elite fanatic in my Amiga days! I'm hoping that Oolite will fill the hole that Elite has left me. :D

I used to play elite with my dad on a borrowed BBC B (with twin cumana's - state of the art ;) ) and 30+ years later we're both oolite players. Being retired now he's got more time to play so he's off in some galaxy far, far away making millions while I'm spending about an hour a day plodding about in gal2... but OXP swapping and oolite conversation still dominates our discussions when we get together (to our other relatives dismay!)
