Yep... it can be much longer (days even), depending on various factors.Shipbuilder wrote:I wondered if you can tell me if it is normal for a PM to stay in your outbox for approximately 2 hours.

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Re: The Oolite chatroom
Your PM will stay in your outbox until the recipient has read (or at least opened) it. I have a PM still in my outbox since Dec 30th, 2008. And some more from Oct 23rd and 24th, 2009.Shipbuilder wrote:Hi Guys - I wondered if you can tell me if it is normal for a PM to stay in your outbox for approximately 2 hours.
I sent a PM earlier this afternoon and have just checked - it is still in the outbox !
If their potential recipients have left the boards and don't return, PMs will stay in your outbox forever (or until you delete them).

Awesome that you haven't deleted them yet, though.
What were the skies like when you were young?

Nothing like coming out of Witchspace and the first thing you see is a Quirium Cascade Mine going off.

Bump!
And, because it is the solstice on Old Earth in the Sol system (for those who believe such a place existed), I'm paying for the drinks tonight during the show.
My rules:
- you drink what you order;
- no carry-outs;
- buy your own deep-fried moth scratchings and other snacks.
