This is a ship that was originally lost in my crash, a couple weeks ago. I think I rebuilt it better this time. It's a tiny ship, about the size of a Merlin, but not nearly so fast. The FireAnt is actually the third ship in the killer insect series. It is a very small ship, but fairly fast, and loaded with lasers, missiles, and two forward facing ball turrets. There is an escort variant of the ship, as well as a pirate variant, though I think any of the variants could end up in pirate hands. If it seems like I'm suddenly releasing too many ships, it's because it's the most reliable way I have of saving them in case of another crash, though I HAVE taken steps to prevent losing them in other ways as well. I'll still try not to flood the market.
Specs.:
Max Speed = 455
Max Energy = 450
Max Missiles = 3
Energy Recharge Rate = 3.8
Thrust = 45
Max Cargo = 5 tons
If you downloaded this earlier, I goofed again. I had "EQ_FUEL_SCOOPS" in shipyard.plist, and it should have been "EQ_FUEL_SCOOP". Sorry for the mixup.
Um, no. "EQ_FUEL_SCOOPS" is correct. It is plural.
Okay, I'll change it back. Where do I look to find those shipyard terms? I have looked at the oxp how to section, and checked "shipyard.plist", but it doesn't list how to state equipment.....I guess I should say that I couldn't find where they are listed.
I always double check the core game's equipment.plist if I need to remind myself of an EQ.
Yeah, that's what I've done in the past, I just kind of dropped the ball on this one. They SHOULD be spelled out on the shipyard.plist howto page, though.
Oh, and I updated the FireAnt link, so the shipyard.plist should read correctly now.
