C64 runs Elite from SD-Card

Post by SwissMäc »

Elite is just immortal:

Commodore 64 SD2IEC Backpack: C64 loads from and saves on SD-Card

The breadbin is 30 years old and still working, "modern" devices dies 3 days after warranty...

Damn that's some good work there. Nice to see that it's possible to bring the classic machined up to date.

I'd pay real money for a similar thing for the Sinclair Spectrum.

And it was nice of the guy to advertise Oolite too! He's not a forum denizen, is he?

Very cool.. nice to see "Lazy Jones" again, too.. I used to love that game.. :)
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

That sure takes me back... :)
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.
