Personally I like the fact that the docking is quite forgiving; you can let the entry slot rotate as you go in and you'll survive
We tried to make it a little more forgiving..
Like in the original Elite, there is no yaw.
Yeah we played around with the controls such as Yaw but it looks a bit weird in multiplayer and it doesn't feel natural at all.

For me, yaw doesn't feel 'natural' in Oolite either... I never use it!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Wow it is out in the App store and it is a fantastic recreation of Elite on an iPhone! Fantastic!
Love the sound also! Docking computer as a standard is sort of necessary.

I have a wimpy old 1g ipod touch. Can't even run the latest iOS.
Ah well. Whenever I upgrade I will give it a try.

Any chance at an android port? Also has anyone checked out Vendetta Online? The devs say they werent inspired by Elite but I have my suspicions.
