No stats on Box

I seem to have no access stats on my files in Box all of a sudden. It seems to want me to upgrade to get stats.
Anyone else noticed this?
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Hmm, I had them this morning, but a quick check now shows they're conspicuously AWOL...

The stats were playing today, in the morning I had no stats, during noon they were back and no stats now. I think it may be due to some software upgrade or their policy may change to support stats for only paid accounts.

Just checked my account settings.. download stats tracking is now a pay-for feature only.. mongrels.. :evil:

Quite possibly! Box will lose a lot of personal customers if this stays as is!

Well, there's a few free web hosting companies, some even offering unlimited bandwidth.
The downside would be you'd have to use server log analysing software to find those stats out.
On the upside, some rudimentary log analysing features are already included in most packages!

I contacted box.com and asked if they were considering an alternative personal account with statistics. They replied very quickly (within an hour).
The news is good I suppose.

With an update that we did last week, this feature was incorrectly marked as a feature for paid users. We are working on reverting this back so that all users have access to the shared link access stats. Again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience. This should be resolved soon.

Indeed, although I wonder how many users they might have lost over it already. I'd seriously begun looking around for an alternative. Glad I can put that on hold now :)
