Re: I say, what do you think?
Looking very good, Solo... well done!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Looks very nice! Good work, Captain Solo!
Only a suggestion: I would add some blue color to the inner parts of the exhausts on the emissionmap.

Griff's Adder no shaders preview:
Note: The all in one package will including all the core ships but not the stations. It will not replace the standard ships bundled with Oolite. I will release only with Griff's final approval.

Re: I say, what do you think?
These models are how I always saw the ships in my head ... I would love to see them become the default models for the core game. Even without shaderiffic goodness they're still magnificent. You can feel them.

Re: I say, what do you think?
What Disembodied said... again! Solo, I presume this shipset will be smaller (in download size) than Griff's? If so, by how much... any idea yet?

Re: I say, what do you think?
Just begun really, but I am guessing the compressed file will be approximately one third of the combined individual downloads or about 30 mb. That is with keeping the resolutions at 1024x1024. They really do look best at that resolution and machines with reduced capabilities (like mine) should not have a problem with frame rate drop offs.El Viejo wrote:What Disembodied said... again!
