Wiki problems on update to Firefox 9

Post by RyanHoots »

Is it just me, or is the Elite Wiki not working on upgrade to Firefox 9? The sidebar seems to have a problem. Maybe it's time to update the wiki software. On another MediaWiki site (running 1.17.0), I don't have any problems. On the Elite Wiki, the problem can be sidestepped by changing the skin from the default.

Nope, not just you. The sidebar has gone. Question is, Firefox problem or Wiki software version problem?

It's there for me, but at the bottom left of the page underneath the main content, rather than directly to the left.

You are right of course, same for me. Rendering problem of some sort. Am doing a search on google for sites experiencing similar problems, nothing so far.

This also happens on my mobile's browser. Rendering problems probably!

no problem with my outdated and somewhat "broken" Opera 10.1 (like it crashes when I try to visit sourceforge.net or nickelodeon.de)
