Ooooookay, I think I almost gave another ship ready. It's called the Firebird, with an alternate version I call the Firebird-Raptor. Here are a few pics, for any interested.

The head-on view looks really good, nicely done.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Wow. Looks like a nice fighter, maybe even in the same category as the Massasauga. Looks formidable.
Re: The Firebird, and Firbird-Raptor
Thanks. I got into a couple of scraps with it, and it handled really well. I even met up with a lurking Marauder, and blew him into space dust. This should not be and Uber ship. It's measurements are similar to the Cobra III, if you swap the X, and Z measurements around.
It is only slightly faster than a Cobra III, and the power levels are about the same. I haven't even tried it with military, or navy upgrades, and it is still fairly formidable. I'm still wrestling with the decals. the bottom firebird decal in particular is proving tricky to get straight, but I'll get it. Once that is taken care of, it should be ready for release. This is one of the ships that needed the aft laser correction. It's a wonder what a difference an "i" can make.

Have you gone back and smoothed these ships and updated the screenshots?

I haven't, yet. I just barely got the rear laser to line up correctly.DaddyHoggy wrote:Have you gone back and smoothed these ships and updated the screenshots?
