It's quite simple really. Just log onto the 'Plenty of Trolls' website. If she has a profile, make one of your own that stands out and message her showing your fun side. You can't miss.snork wrote:Guys, you are missing the point. So, what system should I get to to meet that woman? Is she into small furry trolls, that can change colour ? (se habla Castellano)

Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Funnily enough, I did just that recently!DaddyHoggy wrote:I can't see many people starting at page 1 of a 4+ year, 200 page thread and working their way through it...
Unfortunately a lot of the pictures don't display any more....

Re: Screenshots
I'm afraid this will be true for many of mine. My website images folders (where these are hosted) was a complete mess, so I have deleted them all and started again. The images in my OXP threads are all now back in place, and I have re-uploaded screenshots from September 2011 onwards, but anything before then will be missing. One day when I get bored I will try to re-instate all the others but it is a big job and won't be done anytime soon.JazHaz wrote:Unfortunately a lot of the pictures don't display any more....

Re: Screenshots
The start of the battle for Inus. Battle groups Tethys and Goliath versus a large thargoid invasion fleet.
After I got that Invader, my next target was a Thargoid Cruiser, which took absolutely ages to die. By that point the battle was almost over - both Behemoths gone, and most of the frigates and fighters, but the Thargoids were down to one Battleship, a few Cruisers, and a couple of Invaders. The Battleship made an attempt to go in-system, but we tracked it down in time.
Final survivors:
Galactic Navy: One Navy Minesweeper, one very battered reserve Cobra III, and one abandoned Navy Transport that can probably be patched up.
Thargoids: About a hundred thargons, which will make a nice present for the next few traders coming that way.

Simply glorious! What a magnificent mayhem it must have been...
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

Re: Screenshots
I'm definitely enjoying these Galnavy reserve missions just for the sheer scale of the fights - but also, the scenario balance is perfect - it's a huge chaotic battle with hundreds of ships, and yet your contribution clearly makes the difference between victory and defeat. Off to Xequerin to try again now ... and hopefully a few more of the Navy fleet will survive this one.Cmdr. Maegil wrote:Simply glorious! What a magnificent mayhem it must have been...

Something is wrong with your display. The blue box for the messages on the left is empty! Shouldn't the messages show up in there?cim wrote:

Re: Screenshots
They do - I've cropped the screenshot a bit to get the interesting bit of the battle in (hence the off-centre sight and engine flare) and the last few messages were quite short, so that particular bit of the box is empty. The rest was mainly full of thargoid curses and panicking reserve pilots...Fatleaf wrote:Something is wrong with your display. The blue box for the messages on the left is empty! Oh noes.
Well, once again, latest_log proves useful : " Failed to parse ../shipyard.plist as a property list.
Parse failed at line 12 (char 199) - unexpected character (wanted ',' or ')"
solved - uff!

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Wow! How many are those? And what do they do to your frame rate (pun not intended )?
