Hi Cmdr. Maegil,

It's nice to meet you :)

First time here! I brought doughnuts if anyone is interested. <Looks around mildly interested in the history of this old place>

Any reason why this structure is leaning more than a certain other tower in Pisa?

The leaning just means the blood from all the spam gently spills from one corner of the building - it's a design feature...

Oh, please! It's only leaning a little bit - Capt'n Hesperus actually measured it as just 3º... in any case, I could go try to straighten the tower - anyone want Duc a la Ack-Ack?
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

Didn't the said Captain have a natural lean of his own though at this point, due to the grav plate servicing issues of The Dubious Profit?

I'm thinking about renting some earthmoving equipment and digging a lake down there - we could then have the social club's picnics by the waterfront, under that copse...

... also, anchoring a warship in the middle and having a hybrid semi-sentient giant mecha lying on the bottom would be really cool...
