WooHoo - Dangerous

Post by champ sys »

Well Constrictor complete - finally (and surprisingly easy kill!)
That means I am on 622 kills, Dangerous and trading between a tech level 15 and a 5 with military shields.....

I'm in the same Cobra I started with - just fully equipped.

Too scared to sell it all to get a hollow empty shell of something.

Haven't found anything exciting for sale yet.

I'll get back to you with plane details.

Looks like i lost it.. Exploring systems near intergalactic wormhole endpoint (without any particular order - just tailgating some other ship's tunnel) and still no trace. :-(

Try checking your inventory/mission screen (F5 x2) and System maps. I almost lost it myself until I noticed a highlighted planet on the long range map I hadn't selected.

I finally found it randomly using other ships witchspace tunnels.. But i've seen no hints while docked. The planet, though, was the one mentioned in spoilers ;-)

I just made dangerous too!

I'm on 522 kills and have traded the much loved Cobra III for a very slow Python which I have decked out with the usual - haven't got military sheilds though, probably can't fit them on this old bucket. Anyway I went for the change because I couldn't pass up the extra cargo space. With military lasers fore and aft I'm well protected. Still haven't found the Constrictor but I'm on it's tail with plenty of hepful clues offered at various stations leading me right to him (I hope!).
Not that button, IDIOT! You've just ejected the cargo!!

I guess chasing Constrictor with 0.2LS Python is a real challenge ;-)

Weeell.... perhaps my Python will need to be traded back in for the much loved Cobra III so that I can catch him.

In previous versions of Elite you needed a fast and manouverable ship with a military laser, a python would find it a real struggle, in Oolite however you probably have more of a chance with a python, but it's still a comparable challenge, he's a tricky customer Great fun and good luck!
