Re: Race for the Finis...
Very much looking forward to the release and if I haven't said so before: Write On! Commander.
Well done.

Re: Race for the Finis...
So, no Maniacal Menace gets cut down by a mad Lizard with a Massive Medieval Meat Cleaver? I dare say that would be disappointing. Axes need no ammo, and it is Derik's style to get extremely brutal to achieve a goal.drew wrote:Will be interesting to see what you think of my interpretation of Roh'i rage...
All proofreader feedback incorporated. I will do a final sanity check in the next two days, but 'Finis' is therefore 'Finished' as of now.
See, I said I'd get it done by Christmas 2011 - who didn't believe me?
-=-=-=-=-=
Not to spoil the story, but more a sort of 'trailer'... my favourite bits from 'Finis'...
1. Why you don't want to be a fat green frog in the Aesbion System, or a rodent.
2. Derik bites off more than he can chew...
3. Udian, that's just mean...
4. Rebecca finds her past comes back to haunt her...
5. Derik and Coyote have a serious falling out...
6. Kiri Mereso and the hunky Navy Marine.
7. Daddyhoggy maintains grammatical accuracy at all times.
8. Udian, what big manipulators you have!
9. Derik and diplomacy, with chain-guns, naturally.
10. Trouble with trumbles...
11. Is that an oversized Sombrero, or are you just pleased to see me?
12. Who's that girl?
Cheers,
Drew.

I can barely wait!
(I'm saving the for the release)
(I'm saving the for the release)
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

Re: Race for the Finis...
I'd also add "Udian opens the door" to the list along with "What is it with you lot and my clothes?"

Perhaps along with "Knew we’d get to the butt kicking sooner or later!"
Just 3 days to go...

Hey!
Looking very forward to this, Drew! It will be a bit of a kick for me to sort out some of my own stuff - for various reasons haven't been able to get anything done on that front in the last several months...
This is going to be great reading, I'm sure!
Happy Christmas everyone

ePub and Mobi will be mine. And I'll have to upload the whole quadrilogy onto the wife's Kindle on Xmas day.
