Paperback of 'Torn'?

Post by drew »

Folks,

Hope this doesn't come across as blatant advertising, but it was Daddyhoggy's suggestion, so you can blame him!

I'm bringing him along a copy of 'Torn' (my non Oolite book) on the 16th at the Oolite meetup, so I can sign it.

If anyone else would like one (£10 in the run up to Christmas, normally £12.99) could they let me know in this thread? The reason for asking is that they're actually rather heavy in bulk, and I'd rather not be lugging them around unless somebody would actually like them. Torn is 140k words and nearly 500 pages!

Clearly it's not sci-fi, but it may appeal, and hopefully you know my style of writing by now! It has a hero and a heroine, conflict, drama and a dash of romance, in a contemporary setting.

Many thanks,

Drew.

Drew, I'd like a signed copy of Torn. Can you mark one for me?

Please put me down for one as well. Will go in me wife's stocking for X-mas.

I'm presuming you're not going to be at the book signing on the 16th though...

Your presumptions are inaccurate. :D

Thank you. I have adjusted some dates on a planned trip, combined a few things, spoken kindly to my wife and then my trip automagically moved to the weekend of the 16th. :D :D

I'm trying to convince my wife that the people on this bb are just normal people. Giving her Torn (I already have a copy on my iPod) might just do the trick with Drew, for the rest of you lot, I see no way ahead.

But I'm respected member of the academic faculty at your old place of education! (I'm also a big black bird, but only here on the BB (and in my head))
