Commander McLane?
While responding to somebodies posting I copied the URL from Commander McLane's Rail Gun and I realised that I haven't seen Commander McLane on the Forum for ages.
He last posted on July 14th, last visited on July 23rd. None of his final few postings indicated that he was withdrawing. I know people do come and go, but Commander McLane is such a big contributor to the forum I was just wondering/worried where he might have got to.
He's not answering emails or PMs.
Anybody else heard from him?

I was about to say that also. I cannot remember that he indicated a leave of some sort.

Re: Commander McLane?
Via email today Commander McLane has confirmed that he's still with us - but RL(tm) keeps him from our clutches - he will return (he promises).
I'm just glad he's OK!

Ah... very good news indeed!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

He has been missed. He is a great support and for lack of an eloquent term 'asset' to the commoonity.
His return will be most welcome.

Excellent....he has been missed by many. I'm glad everything is OK.

Phew , I miss personalities and other OXP's he was working on in my Ooniverse. I have actually started to tinker with it myself to see if I could get it into a better state. I think the conclusion is, "no, I can't".

When I "came back" I was pleased to see that (almost?) everyone is still up and about and thriving !
Plus new members, oxp etc. authors and so on...
But Commander McLane.
Solved, good !
