Its currently 1900 polys and 970 vertices. Dimensions are 37 x 34 x 19, but I might shrink it a bit further.
The refinery is 6000 faces with 3000 vertices and its dimensions are 1350 x 1350 x 2100.
That many polys?!? It's a good thing I have a fire extinguisher just by the navigation table... Still, the Corporate Systems OXP might end up too heavy for some older machines.
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

I'm working on reducing it a bit. The refinery hasn't been textured yet so I'm not worried about the UV map. Ive removed over 1200 vertices and 3000 faces from the refinery already.

Thanks DH.

Sparrow now at 625 polys and the refinery at 3000. Should reduce the likelihood of someone's CPU catching fire.

No worries - no point in re-inventing the wheel - from memory there's quite a few fuel companies in YAH now - some of the ads are better than others - but might give you some ideas.

If I get chance I'll have a look.

I found four different fuel companies (not as many as I'd thought)

Another one, not yet released though. (Probably a bit obscure, mainly Scandinavia and the Baltic).

I knew about that one Gimi - and couldn't find it - it's one of my favourites too - as for its obscurity - who cares - great ad!

I actually had a similar idea a while back, made a few stations and carriers, but never went any further.

 It looks like some sort of laser-like superweapon pointing downwards in the picture.

Very interesting look, though I had the feeling planetside is up in this picture! :)
Any plans to release it as a wip? ;)

Staer9, I like that station, looks very industrial and clunky. Maybe to give some variety, both station types could be used, either randomly to suggest that some are an older design, or based on tech level of the host system.
