Only a bother if you also signed up to their discussion forums, and used the same password there as you might have used somewhere else.

Sign in, change your password, problem over.

And use a password scheme, so you never have to use the same one more than once.

Never signed up for the forums - and I don't know what my Steam password is - they generated some horrible thing for me - I cut and pasted it into my log on and got Win7 to remember it - so I don't know what it is. Guess I should change it just in case.
