You could try growing your nose hair extra long. That's what I'm doing. Not that I seem to have any choice in the matter ...

I know a bunch of friends at uni who are doing this. Not something I can really do - my girlfriend tells me off if I get too stubbly! Also, having been born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, I'm unable to grow anything on my philtrum (the dent under the nose), and as a result, it ends up looking as if I have hair pouring out of my nostrils. So the result is what I think is called an "inverse Hitler" (what an unfortunate name...). Not the most flattering look!

The whole point (ok, a large part of the point) is to go out of your way to grow a mo (and just a mo, and from scratch) even if it causes issues with your stunning good looks and/or your better halves (my gf -hates- mine, for eg., and I personally hate having to shave every day)
Anyhoo.. :)
The glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Stunning good looks, I wish! As I understand it, the aim is to raise awareness for men's health by growing a moustache? I was trying to say I couldn't do this, as I can't properly grow a moustache, and beards don't count. But I fully support those who do! 'Tis something I was not aware of until a few years ago until I came to uni, but here there are a number of people doing it. And raise awareness of things it does!

For those who can't participate, support, be it moral or financial is much appreciated. As MdF states - raising awareness is the point.

I suggested to my wife (having grown accustomed to the rug beneath my nose) that I might keep said 'tache - she has indicated that if it's still on my face on Dec. 1st - she will wait until I fall asleep and then then wax it off in a single agonising moment.

(So guess what I'm doing first thing Dec. 1st!!)

And no, it's not (briefly) screaming in agony...

Well, it’s all over, I shave tomorrow!

On Facebook my friend Katherine demanded beads and plaits and ribbons, which I thought was asking a lot...

Well, I managed ribbons – not bad for a month.

A guy must be really manly to allow himself to be seen in those... You have my respect!
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.
