Movember? (or indeed Oovember!)
Any other Commanders participating this year?
Struck me that we could form Team Oolite?
Here's my Movember page just in case you are and we could team up!
http://mobro.co/jmhoggard
(And yes, it's a ridiculous 70s inspired porno 'tache - but if you're going to do this kind of thing - it might as well be silly!)
NOTE: This is obviously only a holographic projection - my avian persona is safely ensconced beneath its photonic shielding, unblemished...
PS - Not looking for donations (I have some Ooliters who have done that already and I'm extremely grateful, so, if you feel so inclined...) However, really just wanted to see if anybody else (who does not normally carry facial topiary) was putting up with the mad itchies of non-shaving!

You'll have to loan it to Captain Sterling when you're finished - it's jolly spiffing! (you just need a leather cap, goggles and a long white scarf!)
So, I don't know how it works, but if we get a few more together - what say we form Team Oolite?!

I don't know what to say KW - I've had other suggestions - including either/both these guys
or the leather clad guy:
or
All of which ignore the fact that I don't and that I'm almost completely bald!

Re: Movember? (or indeed Oovember!)
I'm doing it simply in a moral support basis.
I am keeping my beard part though as my wife forbade me from having just a tash.
I tend to grow one on and off all the time. Depending on my mood. I usually grow a holiday beard anyway.

This is the first time I've consciously not shaved since I was 15 (26 years) - it would seem that what the Lord gaveth me early upon my face, he took back early from my head in my 20s.maaarcooose wrote:I'm doing it simply in a moral support basis.

Your moral support is much appreciated - power to the Mo!

To each, its own... On my part, I'll never be able to grow a big, bushy beard - but won't grow bold either.DaddyHoggy wrote:it would seem that what the Lord gaveth me early upon my face, he took back early from my head in my 20s.

I do have a moustache, though (even if it might just be my way of compensating).
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Re: Movember? (or indeed Oovember!)
I did think about doing something, but the concept is a little difficult since I already have a beard.
So I decided to just stop shaving, but don't feel it's enough of an "effort" to warrant being sponsored...

Re: Movember? (or indeed Oovember!)
yeah, but that seems somehow wrong. Movember achieved in 2 minutes be REMOVING hair? Seems like the opposite of the spirit of thing.
