My 'main' Commander had got a bit lost and was effectively on holiday in the Rift Worlds of Galaxy Seven. As many of you know he was flying a fully loaded Iron-ass Boa Clipper. Even with Tough Guys Armageddon as a 'daily' OXP things were getting a bit too easy and a bit too boring.
Also I had several OXP projects on the go or in mind, and these were taking up more and more of my time.
So for around a year I didn't really play Oolite at all.
Now that my OXP projects are more or less complete (I still have the Liners to get together sometime) I thought it was time for a new challenge - a fresh start.
So I headed off to Lave, somewhat anonymously, and adopted a new persona.
Commander Jack Sterling hails from Zaeredre, a pleasant planet populated by the British people during the diaspora of mankind. Jack is a traditionalist and is very patriotic about his heritage. He is a fair and tolerant man, and is prepared to 'do the right thing' where necessary.
He is currently at Lave having just obtained his Pilots Licence, and has taken delivery of a brand new Cobra Mk III, which he has named 'Bulldog One'. This is a base customer model, which jack has personalised with a custom paint job.
He will be launching soon, with his first task to be slowly improving the ship's specifications and I will share his exploits and adventures with you as he explores Galaxy One and beyond. He will inhabit a very 'pure' Ooniverse, with only eye-candy OXPs which re-texture the original 'core' objects, My Smivs'Shipset and Accessories, and System Redux, although I may add-in a bit of flavour (eg Tionisla Orbital Graveyard) from time to time to enhance his travels.
