Re: [RELEASE] Cruzer
Wow. Nice ship (what's in the Nacelle's/pods?).
Is that texture normal-mapped or is the sense of depth baked in?

Re: [RELEASE] Cruzer
Sturdy-looking and menacing...
By "Cruzer", do you mean "Cruiser"? I think the name's a bit too common... but, if we play a bit with it, we could say, for instance, that-
"When you come across this cruciform cruiser the crux is not to cross it, or it'll crucify and excruciate you before you can which out."
Argh, that was even worse..

You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

Re: [RELEASE] Cruzer
Naming can be as important as first impressions.
A name can instantly transmit an idea of the named entity's strengths, abilities and characteristics, portray an aesthetic concept, explain a philosophical abstraction, etc., so IMHO is something to be given some thought.

Fully normal-mapped with all the other neccessary maps (spec, illumination, engine glow, engine heat, colour, diffuse)DaddyHoggy wrote:Wow. Nice ship (what's in the Nacelle's/pods?).

Re: [RELEASE] Cruzer
This is obvious but I respect the author's wish to name his creation as he sees fit. And maybe he just wants to hide his ship's characteristics behind an innocuous name.Cmdr. Maegil wrote:Naming can be as important as first impressions.

Look more like massive Gatling railguns... I'd also rather stay out of its sights!

As long as they're frangible and you can blow them off - then it'd be sporting...Cmdr. Maegil wrote:Look more like massive Gatling railguns... I'd also rather stay out of its sights!

Re: [RELEASE] Cruzer
Nice looking ship ace/56 and Staer9.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.
