But that also wouldn't work as the Tech level for the cloaking device is set at 99 you would be hard pressed to find one.

I like the What Ship?! magazine idea. Imagine a monthly pdf of at least 18 pages of near magazine quality reviewing a minimum of 6 ships from completely different classifications and lots of pictures, statlists, individual reviews, and even advertising using the Your Ad Here images. The magazine might also have at least 2 articles of interest pertaining to ships, such as equipment, maintenance issues, etc. This could be ultracool if done right. Someone fluent in desktop publishing would be a shoo-in to do this.

That's a lovely model - fab paint job, normal map. (I'm not convinced by the "waste" generated by the concave sections (if they were missile ports or something I could understand it...))
you might like the MkVI King Cobra better. should be hitting the space lanes in teh next week or so.
