Unity doesn’t interest me much. I have tried to implement a very small part of Oolite using JavaScript and WebGL…

Sorry to rez a dead post. but I've found some more on this, including an intriguing example:
http://unity3d.com/gallery/game-list/#w ... -galactica

Ok I understand this has stacks of cubical bods typing away at it. But some indie kongregate developers use it. So not impossible for one or two people to get their head around.

Only down side little in the way of linux support yet.

There is a great computer museum in Rijeka, Croatia and they started to build their museum in virtual world using unity. Not much to see right now but every device on display has an info and can be switched on. There is also an undocumented use of right mouse button.

In Croatian but self-explanatory. There is an also an english page but virtual museum link doesn't work from there. I informed the admins and it will be sorted out I hope.
