Actually this might be quite difficult due to the graphics hardware being OpenGL ES. Once I get my hands on one I'll definitely have a bash though.

what about mounting one of these into a cobra mk3 plastic (resin) surround? Cable plugs in the thrusters and on the angled front.
I'd buy one of those fine items for £60 quid!

Hey as long as the price is right, who cares if it comes in kit form?

Don't get me wrong, free is great but let's not begrudge an inventor a small wedge.

Low cost 3d printer kit sales and dibbs on powder plastic resupply sound like an excellent way to serve the wider community and put a bit of cash away for an early retirement. We need people like this to bust closed markets WIDE open.

Let's hope he doesn't get bought out before he goes to commercial prototype.

interesting project, but i'm betting it's not going to be as cheap as people think/hope. already the cost of the basic software and starting resin are pushing over $500, i'd guess near the same for the printer itself. also, if it's anything like the resin they cast garage kits in, there's a whole lot of other issues to consider for safety; ventilation etc

Well, at $200 they are hardly aiming for the same segment. It's going to be interesting to see how these gadgets develop and are used in the future.
