My old Ubuntu box is very poorly - I suspect the Northbridge chip is overheating due to failing fan (not monitored by system but is making some odd noises).
The system is made from 2nd hand parts and it's very old (Athlon XP 2800+, nforce2 mobo, 6600GT gfx) so I can't really complain. However, I've encountered a problem...
Under Ubuntu I use Evolution email and I want to temporarily port the content of my email system to my old XP Outlook laptop but there doesn't seem to be anyway under Evolution to export into something that Outlook can read, or even a common format that both understand.
8 years of emails and I may be stuck with Ubuntu simply because I can't export my emails to another system - a bit annoying really - I didn't really want to have to install an Ubuntu partition on my laptop...
Anybody have any experience of this?
Any help much appreciated!

maybe a third party converter can do something?
Re: Help - Linux email to Windows (XP/7) email
A quick web search came up with this which might help.
Alternatively there also seems to be a port of evolution for Windows too which might be easier.

Your Google-fu is stronger than mine - I failed to find that page - and appears to do exactly what I need - I will give it a try! (Although Ctrl+A, selects everything in a particular (sub)directory - after eight years I have a lot of (sub)directories... I will also investigate the Windows Evolution port too, just in case!)Thargoid wrote:A quick web search came up with this which might help.
