So, I buy the Ophidian, with a 30 ton cargo bay area... leave the port, jump, dock at Tezaeded... and find out that my hull has decreased to 20 tons...


is this a bug. I reloaded the file (luckily I saved before I bought), and tried again... and it still dissapears.

Now, if I am in a fight, and start getting hit, and take on damage, is it possible to "lose" my cargo extension?

I don't think so, but you do get a repair bill if it's damaged.

As far as losing cargo hold space is concerned, I've noticed in the shipyard that sometimes the cargo hold capacity is different for the same ship (Chameleon I think) with different add ons, it might be something to do with the passenger berths, or a bug.

Yep, that's a bug in the information display as it doesn't respect the 'extra_cargo' element in shipdata.plist that describes the size of the cargo bay expansion.

I've just committed a fix, but well-caught, thank you.
