Made me smile
I stumbled over one of the most odd Forum conversations I've seen in a while.
It really gets going on page 2 - but "darqueknight" v "cjd2112/cjdorschel" - just had me howling by the end (truly "pwnded" I think would be the correct term in this instance).
I'm so glad I live almost exclusively on this forum now - even at its worst - this is the most stable, happy, sensible forums in existence.

My, what interesting things you read.
Well, one more cup won't hurt I guess...

Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Re: Made me smile
I was stuck on a particular lecture when I noticed flashbacks of a fool had started on TV - I couldn't remember the name of one of the actors - IMDB'd it - and got both the answer to my forgetfulness and found that particular thread...
(I have a freshly brewed half-litre of coffee sat next to me even as I type - how did you know?)

Interesting.
I was having trouble sleeping last might and ended up watching just over an hour of that film.
Will definitely finish watching that.

Heard on the news today that pet talking parrots that have escaped in to the wild are teaching other, wild, birds to talk...

Re: Made me smile
It starts all intellectual and by the end it's a bitch slap. Marvellous. I'm seeing a lot of statements and very few questions being asked.DaddyHoggy wrote:I stumbled over one of the most odd Forum conversations I've seen in a while.

These sort of "chess game to nut punch" conversations just make me tired all over.
In a nut shell, sure the system works, is it the best system possible however? There could have been a good debate here but it could be argued the everyone was a little too involved in self engorgement?
This degraded into a horror show of statement and counter statement.

Re: Made me smile
It was gruesome but I did admire darqueknight's quick web-presence search that revealed cjd* was a dual-personality self tag-team combo...ClymAngus wrote:It starts all intellectual and by the end it's a bitch slap. Re: Made me smile
True, that is fair. Reading back DK does make a good point.
Cj is being needlessly provocative (when he raised the point in the first place) derailing any chance of an intelligent debate on the subject.
Sorry if I was a little down on this, normally I enjoy a good fight, more recently I seem to have lost my appetite for pownage.
I think I'm coming down with something, or I've spent too much time in the garden. One of the two.

No problem - I don't often venture from this forum now - for the same reasons you mention yourself...ClymAngus wrote:True, that is fair. Reading back DK does make a good point.

Re: Made me smile
Maybe (however entertaining) it was an off topic thing. Not seen IMDB get that delete button happy over internet lint before.
