Re: Screenshots
Galaxy Nine‽
Okay, I faked it by editing my galaxy seed. I also edited planetinfo.plist to add "Allxxar," I guess it's pronounced "Alxe-ar" or something like it... took me a while.
Who knows, I might release an OXP so others can get to this galaxy, if anybody wants to.

Re: Screenshots
wow, Griff!!
you have surpassed even your own (almost inconceivably high) high standards.
oh, box.net, I'm coming!
(it occurs to me - are you starting again from the top, taking the classic ship set to the next level? )

Re: Screenshots
I saw this over on the Griff thread and couldn't see too much difference. I just saw these images and my jaw dropped. Literally. How I wish I had the hardware to support this... 'Tis truly a beautiful ship!DaddyHoggy wrote:That's so beautiful I could cry. (Do you have it bigger/at a higher res A_C?)another_commander wrote:Griff made new ship => we make new screenshots. New Cobra MkIII. The attention to detail on this one is simply stunning:

There are so many great versions of the Cobra Mk. 3, I don't know what to do.
BTW, will there ever be a Cobra Mk. 4?

These are from a machine set to Simple Shaders. Clickity-click for the bigger picture...
Old Griff Cobby having a pop at the new kid on the block.
Another old vs new shot - phwoar - look at the undercarriage on that baby.....
No touching though -she's packing a couple of externally mounted missiles - the cheeky madam.
And I couldn't resist one (or two) more....

more fuel for my inferiority complex!
As Ruby would say, that's gorgeous, isn't it?

As far as I know, changing the galaxy seed value isn't exposed to OXPs.RyanHoots wrote:Okay, I faked it by editing my galaxy seed. I also edited planetinfo.plist to add "Allxxar," I guess it's pronounced "Alxe-ar" or something like it... took me a while.
