We probably get about 1000 inactive accounts a month - me and EV agreed to leave the last week's worth - just in case it's people slow to use the confirmatory email. This also ignores the attempted account set-ups where the spammer has supplied an invalid email and therefore can never use the confirmation email...

Right, that's it, I've had enough - I'm banning all emails coming from *@sina.com, it may be China's 3rd biggest domain, but we've not had one genuine member, but I've deleted hundreds of spammers using it. Grrrrrr

Just so you know what a fantastic job you guys are doing - here's a list of the 20 inactive accounts I've just deleted, just from August 6th (1 week ago today):

And if you look back to see how many you guys tagged on August 6th itself (another 10) - that's 30(ish) a day, 900+ a month
