Just tagged my final spammer for tonight and DaddyHoggy was kind enough to carry out the sentence.
This has been a very silly day in this department as DaddHoggy so eloquently put it a few posts back. If this is the level of spam we will be seeing in the future I think we have to rethink the protection strategies. When people return to work after the holidays and have less time to spend here this may well become a problem. Also, DaddyHogge and El Viejo may well need some help eventually, but I leave it to them to think about that.

The last few days and today especially have been just silly.

Well ReCAPTCHA back on seems to have made a fairly instant difference - 40 a day to 1 in the last 5 hours...

Normally I find about 5-10 or more spammers on the "Night shift," but so far only 2 have been scheduled for termination. With spam, the more LESS the merrier.
