You speak for many of us. This board has always been a great Oolite resource, partly because the members take it seriously and maintain focus and standards.
Non-Oolite matters can be posted in Outworld, but even here I think we should stick to subjects that are likely to be of interest to the type of people who frequent the board. It's not a playground, and that long-standing 'No Subject' thread is about as far as the silly fun and games should go. Even that has really run it's course now, and I for one won't be contributing to it anymore.

I'll have to say that, for this community, I more or less agree. I know I've been involved somewhat in this, largely because I was not aware of the climate of this forum. Each one is different, and I've been on a couple of different (largely adult population) forums where games were accepted and commonplace, and I've been on a (largely minor population) forum where many games accepted on the former boards were considered spam (though there's a good bit of odd backstory to that one.)

Perhaps there should be a sticky topic somewhere stating what the Oolite BB definition of "spam" is? Each board is different, so it can be hard to know for someone who hasn't been here for an extended period of time.

It's a bit like starting a new school or new job. It takes a while to get a sense of the place, and what is OK and what's not.
Generally we take our Oolite seriously and that, after all, is what this board is for and about, but we certainly aren't averse to a little bit of fun here, once in a while.

One more to go with those, Ryan.

I think they all come from the same bot. They all have similar name structures, and they all registered exactly one minute apart from the last one.
