Re: Screenshots
Still working, got the flashers light just right, the dock lights to yellow still though, working on that...
added positional Audio, when its to your left the sounds comes from left and right, and in front and rear..
and taking into account that the player can switch viewport this shifting his ear positions virtually..
writing Java turret tracking.. Planning on actually aiming the turrets instead of just doing a calculation of the position
of targets and adding lead which was absolutely deadly to anything attacking, instead i think a swift calculus of dot products makes the turret rotate right/left, barrel up/down, need to work in Field of view too..
The bolts of the guns can destroy a viper swiftly in two hits, even 1 if its energy reserves are low..
anyway here is a shot
Cheers Frame...

Cool! That must have been an awful lot of work.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Re: Screenshots
Well, after a few hairy moments (see here for details) I was finally ready to take one of the most important flights of my life.
As you can see, I was heading off to Onrequus, a Mainly Industrial Feudal State, Tl 6. "This world is a tedious little planet." But I was hoping for a much more interesting trip...
After quickly dispatching two pairs of bandits, loitering around near the witchpoint beacon, I set off for the station. Not too far into the system, I found this pirate's cove. Which was exactly what I was looking for!
I flew around the cove, removing all of the pirates that emerged. A little worried, I checked my status...
So, this is it. The big one. I fired on the hermit a few times, but all that emerged was a lowly Mosquito Trader, with a pitifully small bounty. Then, I spied a few police vessels, firing on something in the distance. I targeted the ship and found something much more worthy:
Let battle commence!
He didn't particularly seem inclined to hold still for me...
Nearly there...
YES! Got'cha!
Had to check here, just to be sure...
This is it! Something I've been dreaming of for about 12 years! Needless to say, I headed to the station to save PDQ...

Re: Screenshots
Thanks guys! I'm the only squirrel that I know of; whether there's more out there only time will tell. I've been waiting to get to Elite for ages. I tried a few times in ArcElite, first on Dad's Acorm, then on an emulator on his PC. Both times I never managed to get to Elite, only the step below, although I probably had more kills, as the ranking system worked slightly differently. So to actually be ranked Elite is rather special!
