I'm working on a short story because of a lack progress on The Shadowed Hand, maybe this will get me back into the storytelling mood:
This story adds a bit of trivia, such as what a Caduceus' personality is like. One of the main characters, Komodo, is a Caduceus Omega, so you can get a view of the inner working of the great ships. They are quick to anger but loyal, and have a hard time avoiding a fight.
This short story should be released tomorrow (July 14) if at all possible.

They're fierce gunships, and know it. They never try to avoid a fight, but instead charge right in and too damn bad for any being that gets in the way.
A Caddy Omega is a born Thargslayer. If the bugs don't have any fear of one, at the very least they have a healthy respect.

Exactly. So far, Komodo has had a hard time restraining herself from heading for distant explosions to join the battle...

Ok, so same service from the same ISP, Firefox 5 running on ubuntu 11.04 here. The problem seems to be that instead of trying to load a page from db.tt something "helpfully" adds a www so I get www.db.tt which doesn't exist Wish I knew what it was. Anyhows, thanks for the re-host.

A little formatting would improve it a lot for me. Paragraph indents and new lines for speech would really help readability - some big heavy paragraphs there.
You might want to watch switching tenses from past to present too, it's jolts a little. Other than that, fab. More!

Komodo was one of those quick-written stories with not much thought to formatting, and little proofreading (but I'm working on a second edition). Thanks for your opinion.
