El Viejo, I tried the Griff all-in-one shipset (v1.2.2), and I had more shader warnings than what you see in that Last Log. Never could figure out how to get solve the problem other than taking out the all-in-one shipset, and replacing each ship separately, one by one. I've been checking the logs, though not in the last couple of days, and hadn't seen any of those warnings. I'm trying to remember which of the Griff ships I last added. I went right down the list, as they are listed on his oxp site, so the Griff worm_normalmapped was probably the last. I'll give the all-in-one shipset another try, but first I would like to solve this Energy Bomb thing. Yes that shipyard.plist looks OK, so it's not that. Another possibility eliminated, so worth checking.
Might be worth posting a copy of your save file as well, so we can investigate further.
Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of this.
As for Griff's ships, the Boa seems to be the one throwing log errors, so try un-installing it and re-installing it. Just once in a while things 'break' during download/install.

mandoman, I took an hour to do some looking because I have a hunch what's causing your energy bomb problem.
First, there is nothing in your addons folder that offhand could cause your problem except if it was something modified. You built your own custom version of a merlin and called it MandoMerlin. Let's start there. Anything in the addons folder is loaded alphabetically in order, oxp's(plists) and scripts. You have 2 folders for the merlin, mandomerlin is above and therefore the original merlin is after and so could override some files. Did you make the files that you modified with all original names? I suspect a problem in this area because in the original merlin.oxp shipyard the file in there is labelled Merlin-player, NOT Merlin as is listed in the files you are showing us. Merlin is for the npc and Merlin-player is for the player. It appears the original Merlin.oxp has been tampered with so first thing to do is get rid of it and get a new one and don't change anything in it. Second, MandoMerlin oxp should have different unique names for both the player and npc ships in shipdata.plist and the MandoMerlin.oxp shipyard file should have the same name as the unique player shipdata name for the player(whatever it is that you have chosen to use for the player's unique name). Make sure that those are the same, that the shipyard name has the same name as the shipdata player name. If you do not this WILL cause the problem.
The energy bomb is NOT available to all and therefore has to be listed in a shipyard file for your ship or you will not be able to buy it. It is normally available for the Merlin-player. Because you cannot buy the energy bomb this MUST be what is happening. The shipyard file does NOT refer to the shipdata file for the player in your custom MandoMerlin.oxp. Also because of your post of the shipyard files I SUSPECT that you are cross connecting the 2 oxp's by referring the shipyard files to the OTHER oxp's shipdata. Only refer to the files in the same oxp please or there likely will be problems.
I hope these instructions help so that you can do what needs to be done. If it doesn't then post all relevant shipdata and shipyard files and we will try our best to sort it out for you. I am almost certain that this is what your problem is. Good Luck!

You've got Cataclysm installed - you may as well take it out it doesn't (yet) work with 1.75+.
You need to update your Escort Contracts - it's currently at version 1.2.
Might be worth doing a quick look through the wiki for all your OXP's to see if you've got the most up to date versions.

Ok, I removed Cataclysm, and installed the newer version of Escort Contracts. I'll go through the oxp list, and see if I'm missing any updates. As for what I said, don't let me get to you. Right. Or should I say, whatever. I shouldn't have screwed with the Merlin oxp to begin with. I removed MandoMerlin, and the messed up Merlin oxp, Then I unzipped the original Merlin oxp and reinstalled it. I now have a Merlin that uses the png I had made, that I named Merlin.png, and removed the original Merlin.png. I then booted the game, made sure my altered Merlin.png loaded, and then quit the game and changed the "Chance" in the shipyard.plist to 0.0. That should keep any other Merlins from popping up in the game using my colors. In fact, that should prevent any other Merlins from popping up in the game at all. Right, whatever. Changing "Chance" in the shipyard won't prevent npc merlins from popping up in the game. If you ask for help and someone takes the time from his busy schedule to try and help you could at least try the advice that you asked for. Instead you do exactly what I asked you not to do. Why don't you just post the shipdata and shipyard files of both the MandoMerlin and Merlin oxp's that were modified and that were giving you problems. It seems rather silly to throw away the work you invested in customizing a merlin for yourself when the problem is one of labelling. If you post those files it should be a simple matter for one of us to go through them and show what changes to make to get things working right again. Or maybe it's just "easier that way" to ignore the advice you ask for and do the exact opposite. Whatever. You know this piss poor attitude of yours about us thinking you are stupid has to stop. I come on this board because it is fun for me. When I read your depressing self berating posts it makes me not want to even read your posts at all. It's that much of a downer. My apologies. You are right, I do have a Piss Poor attitude. You are also right in that changing Chance changed nothing. I only did it because I thought someone suggested it in an earlier post. Many thanks for all the help, and I mean that sincerely. I'm sorry that I didn't do what you suggested, as I thought that I did do what you suggested. I thought you said to put everything back to where it was to see if that settled the Energy Bomb problem, and other conflicts, and then if that didn't work to put the changed oxps back in, and THEN post up the shipdata, and shipyard files to see what the problem was. Looking at your former post, I see that I misunderstood your instructions. Putting everything back DID solve the Energy Bomb problem, and it is back up for purchase at higher tech level stations. Regardless of my bad attitude, I DO try to do what is suggested, as I know I'm not very knowledgeable of oxps, and such. Ok, went through it and we can save it. It was a wrong name for the shipyard file for MandoMerlin-player that caused the energy bomb problem. Also, duplicate names/misnames cause other problems.
Shall we fix this? Try to follow my edits and instructions please.
Now here is the big question. Your unique texture for the MandoMerlin. Do you have in the models file of this oxp a model named "MandoMerlin" and did you alter the textures references inside that model to refer to "MandoMerlin" as a texture for each of the lines and do you have in the textures file of this oxp a special texture you made with the name "MandoMerlin"?
If the answer is yes to all three questions then things will now work.
This will run by itself and create a ship called "MandoMerlin". If you have already bought it and the chance in shipyard is set to 0.0 then it will not appear at the shipyard.
If the answer is not 3 yesses then you have some work to do. Do what I outlined above and it will work.
In the altered merlin oxp that you have now burned, you had listed:

merlin.png should have been between <string></string> so this would not have worked. Also you would have just needed to list the materials, no texture_map.This is a good method if you have multiple ships but in this case I think you should do it the hard way and rename the texture references in the model itself, the model and texture name itself. Then you can have your ship with no dependancies on the merlin and there will be no interference/conflict.
I hope this helps you out and your problem is very straight forward.
AFTER all is well(make sure) then you can add the normal merlin.oxp and those ships can be in the game as well with no conflict.

I must still not be understanding you. I thought I had everything in the shipdata.plist, shipyard.plist, Models dats, Hud plist, and Textures pngs changed to mandomerlin settings completely. In fact, I keep going over it to make sure, but when I start up the game and choose Cmdr. Mandoman, all that appears where the ship usually appears is a giant yellow question mark, and it says in the caption that I don't have the mandomerlin.oxp installed. Honest, I'm trying my best. You have spent more than enough time on this, and I can use my version of the Merlin by replacing the original merlin.png, with my version by simply removing the original, and renaming mine as merlin.png. This whole thing got going because I had kind of hoped to have the only Merlin in any system with the textures I repainted, but it is just too much. If someone who knew what they were doing (like you) did it from scratch, it would most likely work out fine, but I just don't seem to have the knowledge base to pull this off. I truly appreciate your help. I was rude partly because I thought you, and a couple of others, were making fun of me. I have a short temper in that department, so I thought I was defending myself. I was wrong, and I'll just ignore any posts to my question threads that seem like they are poking fun at me. Thanks again.

What's the ship_desc key in the save file? The question mark means that it doesn't think you've got the correct ship oxp installed, which might mean that the save file is looking for the old version?
Edit: actually, looking through, CSOTB doesn't seem to have changed anything like that... Also, did you remember to cut out the bits that he had indicated inside the shipdata.plist version he posted?
