You are of course free to update the scripting methods in your personal copy and use it this way. I have done the same in my own personal copy. Note, however, that there is no error whatsoever in the OXP. The log entries are mere deprecation warnings, which is a completely different thing to an error.pkin wrote:I'm not sure the original owner of thisOXP is still around. I think I have the errors fixed and I'm testing at the moment.
I would advise you to be a little less bold in your assumptions about the absence or presence of board members, though. Specifically, what gives you the idea that Frame is not around anymore? He made his last post on October 14, which is merely four weeks in the past at the time I am writing this. For all we know Frame may just be on vacation. And it took me only two mouseclicks to find that out. The first one on the "Profile" button in Frame's last post here above, and the second one on the "Find all posts by Frame" link in his profile. You could have done this little fact-checking as well before making your questionable claim.
All of this means that, while you may adjust your local copy of the OXP, you are not automatically entitled to publish it, or in any way take over the OXP. Just be a little cautious here, please.
