Cool... I like the Wyvern Queen... lovely lines.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

I like that ... mind you, I'd like to see what it might look like with the cagework at the back filled in. The current fretwork looks a bit fussy, maybe, but if it was stretched out a bit into a longer tube ...? It's probably all the references to the TTA books we've had recently: I remember there was one really snazzy-looking fighter craft called the Shark, with that kind of think going on behind it:

I think your current design doesn't need such a long extension but stretching out the tail a touch and giving it an engine "nozzle" would make it look more solid, more predatory ... and yellow and black still looks cooler than grey!

I like it ADCK! As I said on the other topic, if this doesn't get selected for the main model, I'll create a special version of the Wyvern just for it. It is COOL!

Hi!
Here are a couple of Red Wyverns. The textures, normalmaps etc. are just placeholders, I'm offering my model(s) for this project.
First one has a rough semblance to the creature of which namesake the ship is.
Click the pic to see it bigger.
The second one takes the theme one step further, with smoother, more curved outlines.

Reminder: Deadline is noon, tomorrow, at which point the poll will be opened. All submissions are going on there at this point, mine excepted. It is, as Wildeblood would say, "insufficiently gorgeous" (especially in light of all these AMAZING models!!!!) It is gonna be a tight race.

The other variants.
Black and White ones have 30% bigger dimensions than the rest - pics not in scale.
Every pic shows a 'traditional' and a 'smooth' version of each variant.

I like those Zieman. They remind me a little of the dragon and suggest a continuity to that line of dragon-like names.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

I have to add that an added advantage to the Black is that it is SO darned hard to see. Thus why pirates love it.

I can already see players complaining about their monitor settings. "Man, why is this ship so hard to see?"Dragonfire wrote:I have to add that an added advantage to the Black is that it is SO darned hard to see. Thus why pirates love it.
