Griff did a script for applying Carrier logos to CargoPods - perhaps that could be scripted to apply ads - so the edible poets Ad would imply food in the cargo pod...
Interesting concept.

I believe the problem with this cool idea is that there is no cargo in the pod until you scoop it and then it could be anything. I think it was talked about in another thread but not sure.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Which is why I kind of implied it would need to be scripted cargo rather than game engine created ones...

Stupid protesters hijacking advertising space.

Shouldn't that be: "The Great Lord Giles Hates Space"ADCK wrote:Stupid protesters hijacking advertising space.

As it's a Motorsport weekend - F1 and MotoGP, I find myself watching the Ads whizzing past in the background almost as much as the race itself!
Silly, as ever...

I could imagine a parallel ad with the more scientifically correct version "Nature hates vacuum".

This all makes me wonder what the Creationism Vs Evolution debates must be like in the Ooniverse

Not much of a debate - We know Oolite evolved from Elite, but it had a Creator and he was called Giles. Everybody wins, everybody's happy!Smivs wrote:This all makes me wonder what the Creationism Vs Evolution debates must be like in the Ooniverse

Bit of a story behind this sign, every day on my way home from work I go to the station to catch the bus, and 50% of the buses going by have this sign on them, and I think to myself; "I've just been SNIS'd"
"Sorry, Not In Service"
Because even sentient billboards need time off.

I see a lot of signs with:
"Sign not in use." - which I'm sure is a logical inconsistancy.
or
"Sign under test." - which just has me asking the question "What test?"
Cheers,
Drew.
