What rule is followed in Oolite when you galactic hyperspace, in TNK you arrived at the nearest planet to a common grid reference in each galaxy, in other versions you arrived at the planet nearest to your exit point grid reference from the previous galaxy.
Similarly what rules do the wormholes use.

Re: Galactic Hyperdrive and Wormhole behaviour
Option Three. You arrive at the nearest system in the next Galaxy to the coordinates at which you left the previous Galaxy, however this is checked for connectivity to the main sweep of systems so there is no dead-end from Rainza in G7.TGHC wrote:What rule is followed in Oolite when you galactic hyperspace, in TNK you arrived at the nearest planet to a common grid reference in each galaxy, in other versions you arrived at the planet nearest to your exit point grid reference from the previous galaxy.
Wormhole destinations are set when they are created by the witchdrives of the departing craft - so they are always to a nearby system (within 7LY). ATM there are no Galactic Wormholes.
