The Merlin
I have a marvelous ship, which I'm sure many of you know quite a bit about, called a Merlin, that I have used to wrack up more kills than I have with my Werewolf, in half the time. It's a fantastic little bullet. I have a question, though. What is this rogue Merlin that seems to pop into any old system, in any old Galaxy, at any old time, and basically proceeds to make fools of the GalCops, and also myself. This rogue Merlin (and I don't really know if it's the same one every time) is indestructible. I have hit it myself so many times that many other ships would be space matter ten times over with the same hits. I have also hit it in conjunction with, and more than once, the Galcops, which would have blown any ship I have encountered, up to now, into dust. The little sucker even throws off a huge flash when hit directly, and comes out of it without a scratch. Now, I have destroyed other Merlins with my Merlin, and I have even destroyed a couple with my Werewolf, so can someone please explain to me why this particular Merlin is invincible?

Re: The Merlin
The answers are in the ReadMe file and a browse through the shipdata.plist is quite interesting as well. Amazing invincibility in a tiny package. Not the kind of ship I would care to pilot.
Re: The Merlin
Hmmm, I must have just come up on a couple I just couldn't beat, because I DID take out at least three other Merlins. I read those "ReadMe" texts, and I knew they were tough, but didn't realize just HOW tough. Nuts.
