Autocorrection

Post by CheeseRedux »

Okay, before you click-happy people jump straight to the link, a few instructions. Ignore them at your peril.
First off, keep any liquids well away from your computer. At least three feet.
If you're drinking anything, swallow. Thoroughly. Anything left in the cup? Three feet.
If you're in a location where uncontrollable laughter is not the best of ideas, change locations or wait. Not much to be done with this one, unfortunately.
If you have company that might get attracted by the aforementioned uncontrollable laughter, make sure to check them for liquids before they are allowed to approach.

Enjoy.

Recovered? Check out the other months. That should do you in for a bit longer.

You're the second one to tell me that. Maybe it needs to be added to the warning.

I've just had keyhole surgery on my shoulder though - so I'm probably rather unique!

I had to go away and kneel on the floor ... this is surely what the internet was created for.

It does make you wonder what the people who coded the autocorrection feature were thinking about

It learns words you use a lot. And, of course, they’re probably mostly fake.

HEHE!

The dangers of computer interpretation. Quite funny. Drew, this would make a good premise for a SF novel. Autocorrection causes war with another species. :)
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Didn't Douglas Adams already cover that - fortunately the invading fleet due to a gross error in scale (a familiar problem) was eaten by a small dog...

I did not just hear you say that!

It's so...wrong.
