The title says it all.
I just purchased my first blackdog python and fitted port and starboard plasma batteries.
Guess what?
When you broadside with them, the bolts do not go where the target sight says, rather half a screen to the back.
Bolts hit aft of the sight position at a fair distance too.
Not that aiming with the side ports is in any way a viable combat tactic...

Riding the Rocket!
I noticed that too on port and starboard, in fact the direction of the plasma bolts is dependant on where your target is, if it is in the cross hairs you miss by a mile, adjusting the position of your target slightly back from the cross hairs by speeding up or slowing down, will allow you to score a hit, but it's so fiddly it's not worth the effort, at best you're only going to scratch the paintwork anyway.
