A small word of appreciation.

Post by ClymAngus »

Now I've been here a while and I know that Blokes, especially British blokes don't really do appreciation. This is something generally left to the wonderful Europeans, or the full frontal Americans. Not that this is a bad thing, you get your emotional solace where you can find it these days.

But that said some people feel a little "pull back" regarding brazen emotional displays of affection. So we're not doing brazen emotional displays of affection, we're doing quiet happy mumblings. Which in all honesty is about as close to "I ****ing love you, man!!" as British gents get"

So Yes, I believe mumblings are called for!

I have a lot of work and most of the forums in which I find joy, have been trials of late. I just wanted to say that, it's nice to find a fine group like this that wants little and demands nothing. I know I can act like an ass hole at times, but yeah you all make me feel like I'm part of something bigger. Thank you, thank you for putting up with my s**t.

And in a typical British reply: "Have you been drinking?"

Whatever it is as long as it's coffee!
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.
