Yes it is flipped normals, it was completely accidental and something to do with blenders .obj export function... which ended up messing up the normals, but to quite a nice effect.
Didn't somebody do it a couple of years ago with a domed police ship - a Seriph or something? Can't spell it so can't search to look up the creator...

Linkie ... the creator was Scarecrow, so maybe you've suppressed the memory.

Spooky! Probably true...

Hi Smivs,
A bit late, but I added the space jellies to my ever expanding list of oxp's, always nice to have some extra flavour in the game!
Greetz,
Onno.

I've seen my first space jellie, and promptly crashed into it, should've dropped out of jumpdrive sooner I guess...

Did you an/or the Jelly survive the incident?

Oxp request: Jelly Detector
On second thought maybe they should mass-lock you instead, if possible.
And welcome omno256. Cool avatar. Right off the bat you got jam(jelly?) all over you. Nice.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Not possible, because technically the jellies are just simple asteroids (which I consider a bug in the OXP).

Nice of you to welcome a new member. On the other hand, he has been on the boards considerably longer than yourself.

Thank you very much.
Now I'd like you to give me some beginner's OXP recommendations, and perhaps the download link for the multiplayer version of Oolite?
