Just discovered that this bloke is likely a very distant relation (not many of us Wagars about you see). He died in 2004, which is a bit of a shame as I'll never get to chew the fat with him.
He was a science fiction writer, a futurologist and the vice-president of the H.G.Well society. Kudos!
